On May 29, 2026, a significant fire impacted a portion of our Iowa Avenue community. Our thoughts remain with the residents who were displaced, and our team continues to work closely with residents, the City of Riverside, insurance representatives, and restoration professionals as recovery efforts move forward.

 

While a portion of the Iowa Building sustained substantial damage, the remainder of the community remains open and operational. The Everton Building has been inspected, cleared for occupancy, and continues to operate normally.

We remain open for business and are actively leasing for the 2026-2027 school year. Tours, leasing appointments, resident services, and day-to-day operations continue as normal for unaffected portions of the community.

 

For residents and families impacted by the fire, we have created a dedicated Recovery Updates section where we will continue to post the latest information on housing assistance, mail service, reimbursements, building access, and recovery efforts. We are incredibly grateful for the support shown by our residents, families, community partners, first responders, and staff during this challenging time.
